Aloo bonda ( ଆଳୁ ବଣ୍ଡା )

Speacility :
Ingredients : Ingridients : ( ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ )
3 medium potatoes boiled peeled and roughly chopped (this will make 2 cups of chopped potatoes) ( ସିଝା ଆଳୁ )
1/4 teaspoon turmeric (haldi) ( ହଳଦି )
1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger ( ଅଦା ଚପ୍ )
1 green chili finely chopped adjust to taste ( ଲକାଂ )
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (hara dhania) ( ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର )
salt as per taste ( ଲୁଣ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଅନୁସାରେ )
1 medium onion chopped finely ( ପିଆଜ ଚପ୍ )
For Batter
1/2 cup besan, gram flour ( ବେସନ )
A pinch of baking soda ( ବେକିଂ ସୋଢା )
Salt as per taste ( ଲୁଣ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଅନୁସାରେ )
Water as needed ( ପାଣି ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ଅନୁସାରେ )
vegetable oil (ରିଫାଇନ୍ ତେଲ)- for deep frying ( ଛାଣିବା ପାଇଁ )
HowToMake: How to Prepare ( ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ) : First boil the potatoes. then peel and mash them when they are still warm. Heat oil in a frying pan add the chopped onion and saute till they are translucent and get softened. Now add the ginger-garlic chop or paste, curry leaves and green chillies and saute for a minute, add the turmeric powder , add the coriander leaves & salt. Mix on low flame add mashed potatoes now keep aside and let it cool. In a bowl take a cup of gram flour; add turmeric powder, little salt and chili powder to it. Add little water bit by bit and mixing with hand make a batter (neither too thick nor too lose).Make small balls of aloo (potato) mixture.Dip each ball in the batter and deep fry them till golden. brownServe aloo bonda hot with chutney.
